Firstly all the team would like to thank you for your patience & understanding during this most difficult of times as well as for your continued support – they are truly most appreciated.

Please be assured that during the time the practice was forced to close we have gone to great lengths to research the best ways to keep you and the team as safe as we possibly can.

Following the servicing of all our equipment and reorganisation of the whole practice an even deeper clean than usual was carried out of all areas.

We are sure you have been aware that the situations, guidelines and implementations have been constantly under review so subject to repeated changes.

In fact actually during one of our pre-opening preparation staff training sessions a full set of new guidelines was issued and released.

Working through all the information supplied we have purchased the best of additional person protective equipment (PPE). Considering all this we have developed a set our practice specific protocols that have led to a modified patient journey that starts prior to arrival at the practice.

Initially this takes the form of extra forms to be completed preferably online for obvious reasons. You are asked to bring only what and who is absolutely required with you. On arrival your temperature is taken after you have used our hand sanitiser station. There are a very limited number of people allowed our waiting area so as to comply with the recommended social distancing measures.

We endeavour to keep you in the waiting room as little as possible but please do understand if this more than a minute or two as we have a number of preparatory procedures to go through before we can welcome you into the surgeries.

Please do not be too surprised if you see someone like the picture below which is showing one of our robust PPE protocols for the benefit of all concerned.

On completion of your treatment there is further hand sanitising stations supplied and mediwipes available.
